मौल a. (ला, −ली f.) [मूलं वेत्ति मूलादागतो वा अण्]
1 Radical, original.
2 Ancient, old, of long standing (as a custom).
3 Nobly born, of a good family.
4 Brought up in the service of a king for generations, holding office from ancient times, hereditary; Ms. 7. 54; R. 19 57.
