शास्त्रिन् a. (णी f.) [शास्त्रं वेत्त्यधीते वा इनि]
Versed or skilled in the Śāstras. −m.
1 One who has mastered the Śāstras, a learned man, a great Paṇḍita.
2 A teacher of sacred science.
