वसन्त 1 The spring, vernal season (comprising the two months चैत्र and वैशाख); मधुमाधवौ वसंतः Suśr.; सर्वं प्रिये चारुतरं वसंते Rs. 6. 2; विहरति हरिरिह सरसवसंते Gīt. 1.
